This is totally skewed by one simple fact... If you are a parent and you are having your blood pressure measured then you are calm because you are getting a "Break" from your kids. For anyone else getting your blood pressure measured is stressful, because, what if its high?
If I understand correctly, when you have high blood pressure, "they" (the doctors) tell you to raise it every day (through exercise), so that afterward it will drop below the original level. So...having children could have a similar (raising it regularly) effect on overall blood pressure that eventually brings it down. Maybe.
