I thought it was fitting that the temperature on 1/11/11 was 1 degree this morning at my house. I did not, however, think it was fitting that my hot water pipes to my shower were frozen. An 11 minute date with the hair dryer fixed that. Happy 1 day.
Yikes! I'm glad your pipes didn't burst. And I'm really glad it's warmer in Madison than Utah, yet again. Unseasonably warm really. But that's okay. May your temperatures increase with the days of the month (or faster).
