My Big Fat Greek Lunch
Today I ate at a restaurant that had "Deer Kabobs" on the menu. Today I ate at a restaurant that had "Deer Kabobs" on the menu. Today I ate at a restaurant that had "Deer Kabobs" on the menu.
I know, I still can't believe it myself.
Is that Bambi on the spit? Run to the thicket!!!

Oh the fun we had at lunch today. I'm still giggling. "Nick, Nicki & Nick, we have a clean up by the trash can - bring your windex."
"What gives the rice such a bright yellow color? Saffron. Is there any food coloring? Maybe a little." Imagine rice over which a yellow highlighter exploded. We are sure it would glow in the dark. I think a LOT of food coloring.
"I think last time I was here & ordered 'beef' I may have had 'deer'"
Posted in the bathroom, "It is common decency to wash your hands". I say it is quite a bit more than common decency.
On the front door, An outline of a baker putting strawberries on a cheesecake? (check) Yep, this is the Greek place.
Around the windows, Christmas Lights attached the building with not so little squares of silver reflective tape. Subtle? Not.
It's days like this that make life worth living.

Bloods a boilin' or is it...?
They did not ask me to take part in this study. How about you?
Does apathy lower blood pressure? Hmmmm. No, it must be all the social interaction and joy they bring. :D

Sneeze Where?
I get it.
I get why we should no longer sneeze into our hands.
My brother suggested we sneeze behind other peoples knees.
That would be awkward, but would keep the germs away from our faces.
I sneezed into my arm/elbow today.
It was disgusting.
A drippy, gooey, slimey, spitty wet sneeze.
Now I have to wash my hands up to my armpits.
Perhaps I should just invest in one of these little beauties...

Buttered Cat Array?
I saw this today & it made me laugh. Hope this brightens your day too.
I'd ride that train.
When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the back of a cat; the two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.
I'd ride that train.

Fashion Show
It was sponsered by IIDA (International Interior Design Association) as a fund raiser for cystic fibrosis. This is a picture of the dress we designed & our amazing model! Woot! Our fashion designer team member was incredible - she made all the ideas come to life with her talented sewing & design skills. It was a huge success. We won 'Most Ready To Wear' catagory.
There were 750 people in attendance.
I had sooooo much fun.
I have such a cool job.
Here are shots of some of the other dresses: They were made of tile, wallcovering, wood veneer(best of show!), glass, carpet, 3Form, etc. Wow!!!

WANTED: Free Stuff
Two nights ago, I was hungry. I was hungry & I didn't want to fix anything for myself. I went to Panda Express & ordered a side order of orange chicken & potstickers. When I got to the window to pay, the Panda-worker was so apologetic for the long wait (I didn't wait long). I told her it was fine, no worries. Then she proceeded to tell about how many people had yelled at her that day because they had to wait too long & since I was so nice, she would give me my potstickers for free. Hooray! I love free stuff.
Today I went to Einsteins for a Six Cheese Bagel, toasted w/ plain cream cheese & an OJ. I waited in line to pay & when the gentleman in front of me got to the register, he turned around and grabbed my ticket right out of my hands, handed it to the Einstein-worker & said, I'm paying for hers too. More free stuff!!!
If any of you out there who know & love me have free stuff to give, this is your big chance. Apparently, this week I am wearing a big sign on my forehead that says "Give me your free stuff". Soooooo... what do you have that I need? I'm available for dinner tonight. ;)

dead is dead
I've been told my computer is dead.
I have not tried to turn it on.
Seems silly to think MY pushing the button will work when no one elses will.
Disclaimer: Image is not my actual computer...
thank you 'google images' for supplying me
with a picture that expresses my feelings about this
'fine situation'.

It WasWindy
What's this I see? Did someone plant a shrub next to my tree?
I called the local radio garden show.
They said I can prune the other branches this winter so the tree does not look so lopsided.
Heh, heh, heh - I get to break out the bow saw.
My nice neighbor is going to use a chainsaw to finish the job today & chop up the other branches so the broken piece can go to green waste.
Thank you nice neighbor.
Boo - hiss nasty wind!
